Hannes Baumann is a Senior Teaching Fellow at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), where he is currently completing his PhD on neoliberalism in Lebanon. His research interests span Middle East politics, political economy of development, neoliberalism, and nationalist/ethnic politics. He is a features editor of “Studies in Ethnicity and Nationalism” (SEN).
