Elisabeth R. Anker is Assistant Professor of American Studies and Political Science at George Washington University. Her research and teaching interests are at the intersection of political theory, critical theory, cultural analysis, and media studies. She is the author of Orgies of Feeling: Melodramatic Politics and the Pursuit of Freedom (Duke, 2014) and is an Associate Editor for the journal Contemporary Political Theory.
