Anthony Downey is an academic and writer. He recently edited Uncommon Grounds: New Media and Critical Practice in North Africa and the Middle East (I.B. Tauris, 2014) and is the Editor-in-Chief of Ibraaz, a researching and publishing platform initiated by the Kamel Lazaar Foundation. He is currently editing Archival Dissonance: Contemporary Art and Contested Narratives in the Middle East (forthcoming, I.B. Tauris, 2015).
