Nur Arafeh is the Policy Fellow of Al-Shabaka: The Palestinian Policy Network, and is a Consultant at the Ibrahim Abu-Lughod Institute of International Studies at Birzeit University. She previously worked as an Associate Researcher at the Palestine Economic Policy Research Institute (MAS), and as a Lecturer of Economics at Al-Quds Bard Honors College, Al-Quds University. Nur has a dual BA degree in political science and economics from Sciences Po University (France) and Columbia University (USA), and holds an MPhil degree in Development Studies from the University of Cambridge (UK). Her main research interests include the political economy of development in the Middle East, sociology and politics of development, and economic forms of resistance.
