Grandchildren: New Geographies of Belonging, DEPO-Istanbul, opened 3 September 2015. Anniversaries are pretexts for remembering decisive moments in history, for interpreting them with the help of added data and research material, and filling gaps in existing accounts about them. Erden Kosova contributes to two Istanbul-based contemporary art magazines, art-ist and Resmi Gorus, as a writer and editor. He is also a member of a post-anarchist collective which currently runs the magazine project Siyahi. He recently curated an exhibition titled Along the Gates of the Urban in Galerie K&S in Berlin and in Oda Projesi in Istanbul. He is currently working for the Istanbul-based newspaper Birgun. Kosova is also a PhD candidate in the theory of visual culture department at Goldsmiths College in London.
