Omar Jabary Salamanca is an urban geographer, and Marie Curie Postdoc fellow, currently based at the Department of Middle Eastern, South Asian, and African Studies at Columbia University. His research lies at the intersection of urban studies, settler colonialism, political economy, and Middle East studies. He is member of the international advisory board of Antipode, and contributor to the Jadaliyya Cities Page Network. 

Nasser Abourahme is a doctoral candidate at Columbia University, where he works between political theory and urban studies. He is the special features editor at the journal CITY, where most of his publications appear.
