Adania Shibli is a Palestinian writer who has published two novels, and many essays and short stories. Her first novel Masaas (Al Adab, 2002) is translated and published in English as Touch by Clockroot Books (2010). Her second novel , Kulluna Ba'eed Bethat al Miqdar 'an al-Hubb (al Adab, 2004), translated as We Are All Equally Far From Love, is also forthcoming from Clockroot. Her doctoral thesis for the University of East London explored the role of visual media in the 'war on terror."
