Manal Bougazzoul
Bio
Manal Bougazzoul is a native of Rabat, Morocco, Manal is currently an undergraduate student at George Mason University majoring in International Affairs with concentrations in Global Governance and the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). Despite the broad scope of her interests in the region, Manal is particularly interested in the politics of the Maghreb, which she intends to focus on during her graduate studies.
Manal’s experience with the National Council on U.S.-Arab Relations furthers her dedication to enhancing American understanding of the Arab World. Her contributions to the Council’s various educational programs help fulfill its mission of strengthening overall Arab-U.S. relations.
After her expected graduation in December of 2011, she aspires to complement her academic pursuits with professional experience in the nonprofit sector, and continue her independent studies on the history and political economy of the MENA.
