Nabeel Ahmed Rajab is a Bahraini human rights activists and President of the Bahrain Center for Human Rights (BCHR), a nonprofit non-governmental organization which works to promote human rights in Bahrain. He is also a member of the Advisory Committee of Human Rights Watch's Middle East Division, Deputy Secretary General for the International Federation of Human Rights (FIDH), and Chairman of CARAM Asia.
The military, however, has quickly come to the realization that the protesters are imposing new realities on the ground.
