AbdelRahman Mansour and Linda Herrera


AbdelRahman Mansour is an activist, new media journalist, and co- founder and co-administrator of the "Kulina Khaled Said" (We Are All Khlaed Said) Facebook Page.

Linda Herrera is Co-Editor of Jadaliyya's Media Page and Associate Professor in the Department of Educational Policy, Organization and Leadership at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

I wanted to lay bare the constructedness of some central narratives that Europe has used to write its own history as well as the history of Islam — narratives that are still present today.
