The DC Palestinian Film and Arts Festival 2017: The Kennedy Center

DC Palestinian Film & Arts Festival 2017 kicks off the seventh annual run (October 5-8) with a FREE showcase of Palestinian performance artists covering storytelling, musical ensemble, and theater on the Kennedy Center's Millennium Stage.

The cultural production, a contemporary expression of the colorful Palestinian diaspora, celebrates Palestine as a vision for the future as much as an object of commemoration.

Featuring:
-Nadia Abuelezam of Palestinians Podcast
-Huda Asfour and musical ensemble
-Visiting Palestine, a one-act play performed by Leila Buck, written and directed by Noura Erakat
-DJ Fatin

This performance is featured as part of the Kennedy Center's free daily performance series on its Millennium Stage in the Grand Foyer: kennedy-center.org/video/upcoming

We regret that as the theater reaches capacity, seats cannot be saved for patrons who have not arrived or are not next in line. Free parking is not provided for this event.

See details here and here. Admission is free.
