 ولد الفنان العراقي محمد الشمري في بغداد عام ،١٩٦٢ ويقيم وبعمل في هيوستن، تكساس، منذ عام ٢٠٠٨. شارك  في العديد من المعارض وعرضت أعماله في العالم العربي وأوربا والولايات المتحدة.
