Hisham Kassem is one of the most respected publishers and democracy advocates in Egypt. He spoke with Linda Herrera (Co-Editor of Jadaliyya`s On Media and Reporting page) and AbdelRahman Mansour (activist and new media journalist) about why he left his position as publisher at Al-Masry al-Youm, on media coverage of the revolution, on social media as a game changer, and his new media venture, Al Gomhouriya al-Gadida.
