The following video shows the "vote" that occured on 5 September 2012 during the Democratic National Convention (DNC) to amend the Democractic Party's national platform, which had previously been adopted at the DNC on 4 September 2012. Initially, and up until this "vote," the platform made no reference to "God" nor to "Jerusalem as the undivded capital of Israel." The video shows the manner in which the "vote" was conducted and how, despite not garnering enough support, DNC Chairperson Antonia Villaraigosa forced the amendment through.
