Itzea Goikolea-Amiano is a postdoctoral researcher at SOAS-University of London (UK). Her work focuses on colonial (Spanish) Morocco, race and slavery in postcolonial and contemporary Maghrebi literature and history, and Spanish converts to Islam. Goikolea-Amiano’s research combines historical, literary and anthropological methodologies from a feminist, decolonial, comparative and multilingual perspective.
