Dr. Yahya Laayouni is an Associate Professor at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania, where he teaches language, culture, and film courses. His research focuses on identity and subjectivity in film. He is interested in questions of religion, gender, and sexuality in cinema. Currently, he is working on an edited book on Amazigh cinema with Dr. Lucy McNair. He is also a co-organizer of the New York Forum of Amazigh, Film www.nyfaf.com.
Lucy R. McNair is an Associate Professor of English Department at LaGuardia Community College, CUNY, where she teaches academic and creative writing. A translator and scholar of North African literature and film, she is co-curator of the New York Forum of Amazigh Film (nyfaf.com).
