Ahmed Abdel Halim is an Egyptian writer and researcher. He discusses topics related to the body and its relationship with authoritarian spaces, whether directly or indirectly. He also discusses topics of political sociology, especially those related to marginalized groups and their relationships with the social and authoritarian spaces around them. His other books include The Arab Alley (Fasla Publishing House: Cairo, 2019); Swaying Bodies (Umam Documentation and Research Foundation: Beirut, 2021); The Representations Of Egyptian Society With The Self, Body, And Identity (Riad Al Rayes Publishing House, 2023); and The Body In Egypt, From Politics To Consumerism (Gossor Publishing and Translation House: Beirut, 2024).
Nour Taha is an Egyptian-American journalist, translator, researcher, and undergraduate student at the University of California, Davis. His research focus includes social anthropology and democratization in the Arab world. He is the Senior International Editor of The Davis Political Review and has had articles published in Arabic Post and Egyptian Streets, amongst other publications. He is expected to receive his BA in Political Science in June 2024.
