Lara Aburamadan


Lara Aburamadan is a photojournalist currently based in New York. She has covered humanitarian stories in Gaza Strip where she lived most of her life. She focuses on creating documentary and artistic images of everyday life and longer-term stories. Lara started photographing in 2010, after participating in a photography workshop with UNICEF. Her work has been published in a variety of news organizations and on websites such as Al Jazeera, Medical Aid for Palestinians-UK, IMEU (Institute for Middle East Understanding), +972 magazine, and others.
