Margot Badran

Margot Badran is a historian of feminism, gender, and culture who has written extensively on the history of feminist thinking and activism in Egypt. She is presently a senior scholar at the Alwaleed Center of Muslim-Christian Understanding at Georgetown University, a senior scholar at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars in Washington, and a senior scholar at the Rutgers Institute for Women and Art. She is working on a book on gender, culture, and the revolution in Egypt.
