Zachary J. Foster is a PhD student in Near East Studies at Princeton University. His research pertains to borderlands in the Late Ottoman Levant (especially Palestine), World War I in Greater Syria, as well as the historiography and literary cultures in the Mandatory Levant (especially Palestine).
