Alborz Ghandehari is an assistant professor in ethnic studies at the University of Utah. His scholarly work centers the ways in which Iranian writers, artists, and organizers seek political futures alternative to both Iranian state repression and US empire, and how they connect with global struggles. His writings have appeared in Journal of Middle East Women's Studies, Journal of Critical Ethnic Studies, and Frontiers: A Journal of Women Studies, among other venues.
