Marwan Ghandour

 

Marwan Ghandour is a Professor of Architecture and Associate Dean for Academic Programs of the College of Design at Iowa State University. He teaches studios in architectural and urban design, multi-disciplinary theory seminars and oversees thesis work in rural and urban studies. Ghandour is a partner in the Beirut-based architectural firm Bawader Architects, with a practice in institutional architecture and urban design projects in Lebanon. His research and practice include collaborations with landscape architects, planners, graphic designers and transportation engineers. His work has been focused on two regions, the Middle East and the American Midwest, where he conducts theoretical and historical research and develops urban regeneration proposals.
