Jeanette S. Jouili

 

Jeanette S. Jouili is Assistant Professor of Religious Studies at the University of Pittsburgh. She has held fellowships at Cornell’s Society for the Humanities, at Duke University, and at the Amsterdam Institute for Social Science Research. She is the author of Pious Practice and Secular Constraints: Women in the Islamic Revival in Europe (Stanford, 2015), and her articles have appeared in a number of journals, including Anthropological Quarterly, French Politics, Culture & Society, and Feminist Review.
