Mustafa Kaba and Çiğdem Artık
Mustafa Kaba is currently pursuing his MA in Economics at Boğaziçi University, where he also received his BA in Industrial Engineering. He has been an active member of Boğaziçi University`s consumer cooperative BÜKOOP and participated in solidarity initiatives following the Soma mining disaster. He is a founding member of the urban agriculture collective Tarlataban. He researches the effects of economic expansion and development on rising inequality.
Çiğdem Artık is pursuing her BA in International Trade at Boğaziçi University. She is a founding member of the urban agriculture collective Tarlataban and she has actively participated in BÜKOOP, Boğaziçi University student cooperative, and Soma solidarity initiatives. Her research interests include food sovereignty and agricultural and energy policies. She is planning to pursue her graduate studies in the areas of gender and agriculture.
