Gaye Ozpinar

 

Gaye Ozpinar is an attorney who earned her JD from Suffolk University Law School and her BA in political science from Brandeis University. She has been practicing immigration law in Boston since 2006. She is a member of the National Lawyers Guild (NLG) and the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). She has provided pro bono assistance to many refugees from Central America and Africa. She has been a guest speaker on immigrant detention issues with Amnesty International at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and the Boston Bar Association. She closely follows issues on human rights and social justice relating to her native Turkey. She was one of the organizers of a Legislative State House Briefing in Boston during the Gezi Protests in the summer of 2013.
