Thank you for your interest in Jadaliyya. We welcome all submissions. The most significant requirement is for Jadaliyya submissions to be analytically compelling and offer a perspective or argument that has not been covered at length either on Jadaliyya or elsewhere. Because of the volume of submissions, well-written pieces are prioritized. Length is flexible, 1000 to 2500 words is the average range. However, we will accept longer pieces. Once submitted, several members of the editorial committee will review your piece and one of them will inform you of the decision.

The Tunisian Observatory of Economy (TOE)

 

The Tunisian Observatory of Economy (TOE) started in 2012 as an initiative by a group of researchers, analysts, and activists interested in public policies after the revolutionary process in Tunisia. The TOE acts basically as a watchdog to the activities of the International Financial Institutions (IFIs) and contributed to highlighting the role of the IFIs on the elaboration of public policies and decrypting their impact. Since 2013, The Tunisian Observatory of Economy is an organization which aims to analyze and democratize economic issues to feed a critical and constructive debate, open to a large public, on economic policies. It aims thus to demystify the idea that the economy is an issue that only technocrats or experts have to deal with.
