Thank you for your interest in Jadaliyya. We welcome all submissions. The most significant requirement is for Jadaliyya submissions to be analytically compelling and offer a perspective or argument that has not been covered at length either on Jadaliyya or elsewhere. Because of the volume of submissions, well-written pieces are prioritized. Length is flexible, 1000 to 2500 words is the average range. However, we will accept longer pieces. Once submitted, several members of the editorial committee will review your piece and one of them will inform you of the decision.

Khalil Hamlo has worked as a journalist for 21 years in print, internet sites and TV media within local, Arab, and international organizations. He worked as a correspondent for Skynews, DPA in Syria, UPI in Syria, Transterra Media, Al-Yum/Today Saudi Magazine, Majalet al-Majaleh Saudi Magazine, Iraqi Media Network in Syria and Assabah Magazine, Free Iraq Radio, and Omani TV. He was a producer in the BBC Arabic office in Damascus. He also operated as an Editor in Reuters Office in Damascus, Senior Editor in Syria Tishreen Newspaper and Chief Editor in Syria Information Ministry Website. He has participated in many symposiums and TV talks shows in Arab and International Media. He received his Bachelor in Press from Damascus University and has certificates for Training in News Editing for News Agency from the Media Institute in Damascus and the Arab Center for Radio and TV Training.
