Owain Lawson is Visiting Assistant Professor of History at Oberlin College. He serves as Co-Editor of Arab Studies Journal and Co-Editor of Jadaliyya's environment page. His research explores the history of environment, development, and movements for social justice in the twentieth-century Middle East.
