Dies van der Linde is currently a PhD student at the Classics department of Royal Holloway, University of London. Dies is studying the developmental trajectories of Roman imperial cults in various cities of Asia Minor (modern-day Turkey). From 2015 to 2017, Dies was affiliated as a PhD to the Department of Archaeology and History of Art at Koç University (Istanbul). Dies is a signatory of the Academics for Peace petition
