Representatives of the Islamist parties expelled from polling stations for violating the Electoral Law.
The governor of Menoufiya, Ashraf Helal, has kicked out representatives of the Freedom and Justice Party (FJP) and the Al-Nour Party from polling stations during a tour of the governorate Thursday morning.
Helal expelled the representatives after finding them campaigning outside polling stations and distributing flyers to voters in clear violation of the Electoral Law.
The military police also expelled representatives of the FJP from one of the polling stations in Shabin El-Kom district after they were caught distributing flyers to voters.
Nour Party representatives, on the other hand, were reportedly using laptops to help voters find their registration details on polling stations’ lists in the Shabin El-Kom district.
