The Freedom and Justice Party announced that six of its electoral lists have together secured over 39 per cent of the votes in the second round.
The Freedom and Justice Party (FJP), the political wing of the Muslim Brotherhood, announced that six of its electoral lists have together secured over thirty-nine percent of the vote in the second round of the Egypt`s parliamentary elections.
The FJP lists in Bani Suef (2), Sharqia, Monoufiya, Suez and Aswan have been announced, while the results of the remaining six lists are still unknown.
As for the FJP individual candidates, thirty-nine will be taking part in the runoff elections of the second round.
The results of five more of the party`s candidates in Giza, Ismailia and Sharqia governorates are yet to be announced.
