Ruling military council reiterates in its 92nd communique that there is a malicious plan to "bring the country down" and calls on "honest" Egyptians to stand by the army.
The Supreme Council of the Armed Forces (SCAF) reiterated in its 92nd communique that there is a malicious plan to “bring the country down” through escalating the ongoing demonstrations and sit-ins, as well as destroying public property.
According to the statement, published on the SCAF’s Facebook page, the plan entails keeping protests in Tahrir Square for as long as possible, forcing the armed forces to intervene and thus defaming the council.
The military rulers also called on “honest” Egyptians to stand by the army to prevent the implementation of the so-called plan.
The statement also underlined the people’s right to peacefully protest without damaging utilities or public property.
Revolutionary political forces have called for a million-man march on Friday to demand an immediate end to military rule.
