Middle East Working Group Conference: G10 Biotechnology Building Since Edward Said's Orientalism almost forty years ago, scholars have viewed the Middle East as a site rife with lessons about the politics of studying place. This conference will examine some of the ways that knowledge about the Middle East is produced and will seek to shed critical light on that knowledge.
