Ilana Feldman discusses the geography of near displacement—Lebanon, Jordan, Syria, the West Bank, and the Gaza Strip, the five fields of UNRWA operations in the Middle East. This talk explores the intersecting, but not identical, experiences of both providers and recipients while looking critically at the politics of humanitarianism. Please Note: This lecture occurred on April 11, 2019.
