Curated by Intibint and Shaima Al-Tamimi, "Prints for Yemen" is a collaborative initiative that brings together ten Yemeni Female artists in the attempt to rectify the stereotypical image of Yemen through photography and art. All profits made from the prints will be donated to YemenAid, an INGO recognized charity working on the ground towards sustainable development solutions and emergency aid. 100% of the profits will be donated to humanitarian work in Yemen.
It is no coincidence the majority of participating artists live in the diaspora. A testament to the history of Yemenis in continuous story with migration.
We acknowledge that Yemen needs more than donations to rebuild itself, however, we hope this initiative will aid in alleviating the pain of those suffering as an essential step to contribute and assist towards a better Yemen.
