The SOAS Palestine Studies Series, now in its 5th year, invites submissions for monographs, edited collections, textbooks and reference books on any area relating to Palestine, Palestinians, and the Israel Palestine conflict to join their prestigious list of books.
The series editors are particularly keen to hear from authors working on pertinent issues related to Palestinian society, politics, economy, development and culture, but all submissions are welcome. To be considered for the series, please submit a book proposal by 1 May 2021 to Dina Matar (dm27@soas.ac.uk) or Adam Hanieh, the SOAS Palestine Studies Series Editors, or the Commissioning Editor at I.B.Tauris, Sophie Rudland: sophie.rudland@bloomsbury.com
All books published in the series benefit from marketing by both I.B.Tauris (an imprint of Bloomsbury) and by SOAS, University of London, including publicity from the SOAS Middle East Institute and a book launch at the Centre for Palestine Studies in London.

Series Description
The question of Palestine is one of the most complex and protracted issues of our time. A country under military occupation with the largest body of refugees in the world, Palestine is a topic of tremendous political and cultural significance, involving regional and international players as well as an army of humanitarian and non- governmental organisations.
Seeking to contribute to this ever-more intricate picture, the SOAS Palestine Studies series promotes innovative research in the study of Palestine, Palestinians and the Israel-Palestine conflict all as a ‘crucial component’ of Middle Eastern and world politics. The first Western academic series entirely dedicated to this topic, SOAS Palestine Studies draws from a variety of disciplinary fields, including history, politics, law, economics, media, social anthropology and development studies.

Political economy of Palestine and the Israel-Palestine conflict
Regional politics and social movements
Violenceandideology
Nationalism and identity
Literary and cultural studies
Diaspora, exile and refugee status
Art, film and visual culture
This series is published in collaboration with the Centre for Palestine Studies (CPS), at the SOAS Middle East Institute (SMEI). CPS aims to promote research, teaching and knowledge of Palestine to a wider international public.
