Skin Deep has published their new editorial season, PALESTINE: WAYS OF BEING, curated by Zena Agha and guest edited by Laura Albast. It’s a collection of stories that center three under-explored areas of Palestinian life: queerness, incarceration, and Blackness, published in both English and Arabic.
Skin Deep’s editorial season encourages readers to see Palestine differently in the present, and to imagine it differently in the future, whilst feeling encouraged to continue learning about and supporting Palestinian liberation.
The four articles focus on liberation in a way that encompasses the expansiveness of the Palestinian experience covering diaspora; resilience; colonial carceral control; the Afro-Palestinian community; generational stories and more.
