This panel will address the Turkish government's recent attacks on academic freedom. The struggle for academic autonomy at Bogazici University will be the centre-piece of the webinar, but the discussion will more broadly address the strangulation of universities in Turkey as a whole, with special emphasis on the Kurdish region.
