Jeffery Dyer
Jeffery Dyer is a Ph.D. Candidate in the Department of History at Boston College. He is currently conducting dissertation research in the Ottoman Archives in Istanbul with funding from a Fulbright U.S. Student Fellowship. His research focuses on the expansion of the Ottoman state and diplomatic presence in the Arabian Peninsula and the Indian Ocean in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. His work has appeared in the Arab Studies Journal and the Ottoman History Podcast.
