Dr. Hesham Shafick is teaching fellow at SOAS, University of London, and teaching associate at Queen Mary, University of London. He is interested in questions of everyday epistemology, particularly in relation to coloniality and the postcolonial state in the Middle East. He is an Associate Fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy and holds a Post-Graduate Certificate of Education from Harvard University.
