Wendy Pearlman and Boaz Atzili
Wendy Pearlman is Professor of Political Science at Northwestern University, where she specializes in Middle East politics and holds the Charles Deering McCormick Professorship of Teaching Excellence. In addition to Triadic Coercion, she is the author of three books: We Crossed A Bridge and It Trembled: Voices from Syria (HarperCollins, 2017), Violence, Nonviolence, and the Palestinian National Movement (Cambridge University Press, 2011), and Occupied Voices: Stories of Everyday Life from the Second Intifada (Nation Books, 2003).
Boaz Atzili is Associate Professor and Director of the Doctoral Studies Program at the School of International Service, American University. In addition to Triadic Coercion, he is the author of Good Fences Bad Neighbors: Border Fixity and International Conflicts (University of Chicago Press, 2012). He is also the editor (with Burak Kadercan) of Territorial Designs and International Politics: Inside-out and Outside-in (Routledge, 2018).
