Hassane Oudadene حسن أودادن

Hassane Oudadene earned his Ph.D. in Cultural Studies from Sidi Mohammed Ben Abdellah University in Fez. Oudadene is an Associate professor at the Faculty of Languages, Arts, and Humanities in Ait Melloul, where he teaches courses in Cultural and postcolonial Studies. His research is focused in Cultural Studies, specifically examining questions of cultural representation along the broader research areas of migration, memory, gender, and media. His recent publications, which appeared in Arab World English Journal, Manusya Journal of Humanities, and Quarterly Review of Film and Video, have addressed representations of Moroccan women in Hollywood cinema. Most recently, Oudadene has drawn on his own status as an indigenous scholar to examine Amazigh literature, film, and translation.
