Thank you for your interest in Jadaliyya. We welcome all submissions. The most significant requirement is for Jadaliyya submissions to be analytically compelling and offer a perspective or argument that has not been covered at length either on Jadaliyya or elsewhere. Because of the volume of submissions, well-written pieces are prioritized. Length is flexible, 1000 to 2500 words is the average range. However, we will accept longer pieces. Once submitted, several members of the editorial committee will review your piece and one of them will inform you of the decision.

Rema Hammami teaches Anthropology at Birzeit University 

Barbara Plett is a journalist with the British Broadcasting Corporation. She worked as a journalist in the Middle East for 12 years, primarily with the BBC, and was thereafter BBC correspondent in Pakistan and at the United Nations, respectively.

Mouin Rabbani is a Contributing Editor of Middle East Report and has published and commented widely on Palestinian affairs and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. He was a Senior Analyst of the Middle East with theInternational Crisis Group. Previously he worked as Palestine Director of the Palestinian American Research Centre. He is Co-Editor of Jadaliyya Ezine.

Mark Taylor is a Senior Researcher at the Fafo Institute for Applied International Studies in Oslo. A former Managing Director at the Fafo Institute, Mark has been an advisor and analyst for governments, business, civil society and the United Nations and represents Fafo as a founding member of the Just Jobs Network. Mark edits the blog The Laws of Rule www.lawsofrule.net). 

Chris Toensing is Editor of Middle East Report, published by the Middle East Research and Information Project in Washington, DC

John Tordai is a professional photographer who has worked in Palestine since the 1980s and is currently a consultant in electoral affairs working in North and West Africa. His books include A People Called Palestine (introduction by Graham Usher)
