Nicole Demby is a PhD student in the History of Art department at Yale University. Her dissertation will look at how global and anticolonial imaginaries were articulated through the photographic and filmic reproduction of works of art in the late 1940s and 1950s. She holds a bachelors degree from Stanford University and has published articles in Transversal and Mute Magazine.
