Lina Khatib, Dina Matar, and Atef Alshaer

 

Lina Khatib heads the Program on Arab Reform and Democracy at Stanford University`s Center on Democracy, Development, and the Rule of Law. She is the author of Image Politics in the Middle East: The Role of the Visual in Political Struggle (I. B. Tauris, 2013).

Dina Matar is Senior Lecturer in Arab Media and Political Communication at the Centre for Media Studies at the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London. She is the author of What it Means to be Palestinian (I. B. Tauris, 2010). She was formerly director of the Centre.

Atef Alshaer is a lecturer in Arab Language and Culture at the University of London. He was formerly a post-doctoral and senior teaching fellow at the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London and has published many articles and reviews on the literature, politics, and culture of the Arab World.
