Nicholas Morton
Nicholas Morton is a lecturer in History at Nottingham Trent University in the UK. He has written several books on Medieval Near Eastern history including, most recently, The Field of Blood: the battle for Aleppo and the remaking of the Medieval Near East (Basic Books, 2018) and Encountering Islam on the First Crusade (Cambridge University Press, 2016). He is also the editor of two book series with Routledge entitled Rulers of the Latin East and The Military Religious Orders.
