Christopher Houston
Christopher Houston is Professor of Anthropology at Macquarie University, Sydney, Australia. He has carried out extensive fieldwork in Turkey, Indonesia, and Pakistan on Islamic social movements, nationalism and ethnic minorities, urban anthropology, built environments and place perception, and political activism. In 2014 and 2015 he was President of the Australian Anthropological Society.
