Aslı Odman
Aslı Odman is a Senior Instructor at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, Department of Urban and Regional Planning in Istanbul/Turkey. The period she has mostly worked on is the interwar period. Her recent research and publications focus on interwar Mexico, the global labor history of the shipbuilding industry, Ford Motor Company's global history, and the restructuration in Turkish higher education in the 2010s by way of corporatization. She currently does anthropological research in various labor geographies of Istanbul on working people's health and precarity, organization of work, and body in workplaces.
