Monica Marks is a leading international specialist on post-revolutionary Tunisian politics. A Rhodes Scholar who obtained her MA and doctorate from St Antony’s College, Oxford, Marks is a scholar of Islamist movements, gender, and politics in the Middle East and North Africa. She is currently Assistant Professor of Arab Studies at New York University’s Abu Dhabi campus and is completing a book on Tunisian politics since 2011, for which she has conducted over 1,500 interviews.
Mouin Rabbani has published and commented widely on Palestinian affairs, the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and the contemporary Middle East. He was previously Senior Analyst Middle East and Special Advisor on Israel-Palestine with the International Crisis Group, and head of political affairs with the Office of the United Nations Special Envoy for Syria. He is Co-Editor of Jadaliyya Ezine.
