Marwa Fatafta is a Palestinian digital rights advocate and writer based in Berlin. She leads 
Access Now’s work on digital rights in the Middle East and North Africa region as the MENA Policy and Advocacy Manager. Her work focuses on issues of content moderation, freedom of expression, surveillance, and privacy, and she has written extensively on the intersection of technology and human rights in the context of Palestine and the wider MENA region. Marwa is also a Policy Analyst at Al-Shabaka: The Palestinian Policy Network. She was a Fulbright scholar to the US, and holds an MA in International Relations from Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs, Syracuse University.

 has published and commented widely on Palestinian affairs, the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and the contemporary Middle East. He was previously Senior Analyst Middle East and Special Advisor on Israel-Palestine with the International Crisis Group, and head of political affairs with the Office of the United Nations Special Envoy for Syria. He is Co-Editor of Jadaliyya Ezine.
